What are the dates of Northwestern Coding Boot Camp?

  • Classes begin May 6, 2024.
  • Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Is there an application process? How do I get started?

  • The Northwestern Coding Boot Camp has an application process and is not open enrollment. An initial phone interview with an admissions adviser is the first step in the process for program admission.  Applicants who are recommended to move forward will take a required critical thinking and problem-solving coding assessment. After both application review and passing the academic assessment, qualified candidates will proceed to a final interview.

Can I keep working while studying at Northwestern Coding Boot Camp?

  • Yes. The non-credit certificate program is designed for working professionals who are actively pursuing a career change or advancement.

How long is Northwestern Coding Boot Camp?

  • Students will complete the program in three months (12 weeks).

Do you provide career planning support?

  • Yes. We offer all of our students career support and coaching as well as resume and portfolio support, interview preparation, and experiential learning opportunities.

Do I need to have previous experience in programming before enrolling?

  • No. While having some background is beneficial our pre-course tutorials will get you up to speed and ready to start learning on Day 1.

Are there any prerequisites to apply?

  • No, the only requirements are that you be at least 18 years of age and have earned a high school diploma or GED.

What does the program cost and what funding options are available?

  • Program tuition is $12,995*. Students may explore private student loans or a payment plan option with their admissions adviser. *Listed program tuition is valid through the 2021-22 academic year ending August 31, 2022 and tuition is subject to change.
