When does the program start?

  • Classes begins March 25, 2024.
  • Tuesday/Thursday 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
  • Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Is there an application process? How do I get started?

  • The Northwestern FinTech Boot Camp has an application process and is not open enrollment. An initial phone interview with an admissions adviser is the first step in the process for program admission. Applicants who are recommended to move forward will take a required critical thinking and problem-solving assessment. After both application review and passing the academic assessment, qualified candidates will proceed to a final interview.

Can I keep working while studying at the Northwestern FinTech boot camp?

  • Yes. The program was designed for working professionals who are seeking to advance their current careers or change paths.

How long does it take to complete the program?

  • The program is part-time. Students will complete the program in six months (24 weeks).

Do you provide career planning support?

  • Yes. We offer all of our students career support and coaching as well as resume support, interview preparation, and experiential learning opportunities.

Do I need to have previous experience in programming or finance before applying?

  • No programming or finance experience is required. It is recommended that applicants hold a bachelor’s degree or have at least two years of experience in business, management, finance, statistics, or a related field. We strongly encourage experience or familiarity with Python and GitHub. Asynchronous pre-work will be provided to students to ensure student readiness.

What does the program cost and what funding options are available?

  • Program tuition is $12,995*. Students may explore private student loans or a payment plan option with their admissions adviser. *Listed program tuition is valid through the 2022-23 academic year ending August 31, 2023 and tuition is subject to change.
